Clothes collections from the comfort of your own home
Donate your unwanted clothes without a trip to the charity shop.
A clothes collection is the easy way to part with things you no longer use. Let’s be honest — most of us have a wardrobe holding far more than we wear, and a clear-out feels good on its own. Knowing it raised money for a good cause makes it feel better still.
Collections in a couple of clicks
Collect4All is a textile recycling company that arranges its collections online, in support of charities, schools and foundations across the North-East. That was the idea from the start: make donating easy enough that it actually happens, and keep the environmental cost of the process down while we do it.
Booking takes about ninety seconds, and there is nothing to wait for afterwards. You tell us where you are and roughly how much you have, choose the cause the proceeds go to, and we come to your door on a day that suits you. Because we collect from the doorstep, your bags aren’t sitting out on the pavement all afternoon where somebody else can walk off with them.
No plastic charity bag through the letter box, and no trip to the charity shop.
Less waste, more action
Arranging collections online means we no longer have to make and post millions of plastic bags — most of which land on the mats of people who never intended to donate in the first place. Knowing exactly which doors we are calling at keeps each round tight, which keeps fuel use and the carbon footprint of a collection down.
The clothes themselves are sorted and graded at our warehouse in North Shields and sold on to be worn again. The proceeds go to the charity you named when you booked, and you choose again every time, so it can be a different one on your next collection.
Booking a collection
Start with your postcode. We’ll tell you straight away whether we reach you yet — we currently collect across Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, Sunderland and County Durham — and if we do, the rest is a couple of questions about how many bags you have and which cause you would like to support.
Use your own bags or boxes, put them out by 9am on the day, and you don’t need to be home. That is the whole job.
